This was the best vacation home we've ever stayed in, and we've been staying in vacation homes for many many years. It was super thoughtfully designed, with the upstairs game room and outdoor pool / lounge area being especially a hit with my kids and extended family. The beds and linens were amazing - we slept great, and the kitchen was well stocked so we were able to cook and had everything we needed. Most of all though, the communication was excellent. We got a call from Overmoon's concierge after booking, and had an awesome local woman, Dawn, who helped us when we got to Destin. They helped us book all kinds of great activities with local companies - we did a bonfire on the beach one night, an in-home chef for my mother's birthday, and we even got in-home massages. It was amazing!! The whole experience felt like we were staying at a high end boutique resort. We'll definitely be back - and can't wait to see where else Overmoon has homes!

You’ll be doing your best not to brag back home after staying in this shimmering coastal gem – the kind of house you and your crew will want to revisit year after year.

Two blocks from Destin’s legendary white sand beaches and newly remodeled with boutique hotel-style amenities throughout its expansive three-story living space, this pristine 7-bedroom vacation getaway easily sleeps 20 and sports so many cool features we literally don’t know where to start (okay, now we’re bragging).

How do we know this modern-day testament to the joy of seaside living will be such a hit with your family and friends? Because we designed it that way! At Overmoon, we own all our homes so we’re able to curate everything about them with a great trip in mind – from top-of-the-line appliances to thoughtfully designed rooms that will make even the last-place finisher in the post-arrival room lottery feel like they pulled out a low-key win.

Unlike a typical vacation rental, there’s also not a hint of randomness to be found here. So while you check out the two fully decorated balconies, outdoor cabana, and stacked game room, what you won’t discover are any mismatched dishes, random drawers, or some owner’s stashed-away, moderately alarming personal belongings.

We also offer a robust menu of rentals, services and local experiences that will allow you to vacation hard and travel light. Once you book, we’ll send you an email that directs you to all of our add-on offerings – from baby bouncers and golf carts to exercise equipment and much more – all of which can be ordered with the touch of a button.

And while we’re conflicted about its presence, we’d be remiss not to mention the brand-new Peloton that you should feel absolutely no pressure to use while you’re here. Because while burning calories on vacation has never really been our thing, we realize it takes all kinds to make this crazy marble go ‘round. So, you know, go nuts.

The Space

First Floor
Walk in the front door and you’ll find yourself in an airy home so perfect and effortlessly well-appointed that the idea of one of your friends owning it would literally make your head spin with jealousy.

Passing through the entryway, you’ll find a luxury kitchen featuring pristine custom cabinetry, gorgeous countertops, stainless-steel appliances, and a beautiful backsplash set behind a stunning overhead range hood. A center kitchen island with stylish slatted facing is the perfect spot to lay out a morning serve-yourself breakfast, pour an afternoon batch of margaritas, or do a solo midnight crush session with the last of the store bought cookies.

Conveniently located just a few feet away is the dining room, staged with an ultra-wide dark wood table that contrasts beautifully with a series of wire-brushed white oak dining chairs. And above it all is a modern chandelier, looking sparkly as all get-out and silently judging all it surveys.

And, of course, this entire space is attached in all its epic open-concept greatness to a living room showcasing a four-person couch and accompanying three-seater – both offering the kind of sink-in comfort that can easily kill an afternoon. Nearby, blue feather-stuffed lounge chairs add a dreamy feel to this modern space, while the large farmhouse coffee table provides the perfect spot for a friendly game of cards (or the considerably more obnoxious late-night version).

Also note the large, wall-mounted flat-screen television here because you’re going to want to come back to that. You know, movie nights and televised sports and murder mystery documentaries and whatnot.

Staying on the First Floor, Bedroom #1 boasts a king size bed with a classic frame, two open secretary night tables, a six-drawer dresser, large wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and desk for all any half-hearted vacay work you have to sneak in. There’s also a private en suite bathroom that it is entirely right to bar from use by all outsiders, since there’s a perfectly good bathroom off the main area.

Second Floor
Bedroom #2 gives off a tranquil nautical vibe, presenting a king size bed, two night tables, and ocean-themed décor hanging above the headboard. This room also features its own full bathroom with tub and shower.

Bedroom #3 features a king size bed with a rounded wooden headboard, framed by two large countryside night tables, and a modern en suite bathroom with contemporary touches throughout and its own tub and shower.

Bedroom #4 is spacious and sophisticated, boasting a king size bed with a handsome dark wood headboard, two distressed-wood nightstands, and a large wall-mounted flat-screen television. Giving off a bit of extra luxury, this room comes complete with a private en suite bathroom and exclusive access to the second-floor balcony.

There’s also a cozy little den-nook on this floor with a full pull-out soda, a work station, and a few games. With so many other choice sleeping options, we aren’t counting it in the house’s official bed count, but, hey, it’s a nice place to get some work done, take a nap, or play a lazy afternoon game of Scrabble.

Third Floor
Bedrooms #5 and #6 provide versatile layouts, both separately highlighting king size beds with stately white headboards, as well as twin bunk beds built for two. Ideal for young families, both these rooms offer much-needed personal space to the rowdiest/youngest members of your group, without putting them too far out of sight.

Bedroom #7 is the only non-private sleeping space in the house as it’s the only way to access Bedrooms #5 & #6, but this space has a secret dual role: It’s also the Game Room! Stocked with classic arcade games, an over-the-door indoor basketball hoop, and full-size shuffleboard table, it also features a comfortable pull-out queen size sofa that could make this room a dream crash pad for the right member of your group.

But no matter where on this floor you land, you’ll be delighted to find that Bedrooms #5, #6 & #7 all include their very own full bathrooms – each with a tub and shower.

The Yard
In back, you’ll find a private fenced-in patio area – perfectly manicured, surrounded by palms, and complete with a hot tub, thatched-roof tiki bar, rustic pergola, outdoor sofa, pool chaise loungers, and a deluxe, pleasantly symmetrical swimming pool.

Enjoy cooling down with a midday dip or dining al fresco beneath a moonlit sky at the comfort of your outdoor supper table, set for a party of eight. Whatever you’ve got planned, this little slice of paradise is sure to deliver.

The Area
Not gonna lie: We didn’t pounce on this property for the house alone. It just so happens to be located just a couple blocks from the sand and safely cocooned on the breezy, beautiful peninsula that makes Destin such an unforgettable vacation town. Tromp around and you’ll find no shortage of friendly neighbors, fellow vacationers, amazing restaurants, some killer bars – and even a couple golf courses.

Oh, and yes of course we’re pet friendly and if we had a tail it would be wagging if you decided to bring your 4 paw’d family member along for the trip!
